Ledgion collects necessary data required to deliver educational management services:

• Institute Data: Institute name, contact details, admin user email address, API keys for payment gateways configured by the institute.
• Student & Guardian Data: Student names, contact mobile numbers, email addresses, assigned batches, attendance logs, and fee payment histories.
• Technical Data: IP addresses, browser types, and session tokens managed via Clerk Authentication.

2How Information is Used

• To generate automated fee invoices, payment receipts, and installment notifications.
• To facilitate payment order creation through institute-configured gateways (Razorpay, SMEPay, VyaparGateway).
• To maintain accurate student attendance logs and academic performance analytics.
• To ensure platform security, prevent unauthorized access, and provide technical support.

3Data Storage & Security Standards

Ledgion utilizes enterprise-grade Convex backend cloud infrastructure and Clerk authentication. All sensitive API credentials and student data are transmitted over 256-bit SSL encrypted channels. We implement strict role-based access control (RBAC) ensuring that institute data is strictly isolated per tenant.

4Third-Party Data Processors

We integrate with trusted third-party service providers to deliver seamless platform features:

• Clerk: User authentication and identity management.
• Convex: Cloud database storage and real-time synchronization.
• Payment Gateways (Razorpay / SMEPay / VyaparGateway): Secure payment transaction handling as per institute configuration.

5Data Rights & Deletion Requests
